Introducing the Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01759
Panerai introduces a new limited-edition Luminor Marina that is likely to excite collectors: the Luminor Marina PAM01759, capped at 1,000 pieces. Its standout feature is a dramatically domed sapphire crystal that instantly recalls historic Panerai instruments and the underwater gauges the brand once built for the Italian Navy. Just as in the past, the curved glass enhances legibility by magnifying the dial and numerals, giving the watch a distinctive vintage-tool aura.

PaneraiAnother rarity makes this model particularly appealing: the dial is furnished with twelve hour markers, something seldom seen on modern Panerai watches. These numerals are rendered in green Super-LumiNova, a nod to the legibility requirements faced by military divers in low-light conditions. The small seconds display at 9 o’clock, indispensable for confirming that a watch is running underwater, further reinforces the brand’s military roots. This full set of numerals has surfaced only occasionally in the brand’s history. To display all the numerals in classic Panerai typography, the PAM01759 forgoes the traditional date window at 3 o’clock.

The new PAM01759 features a 44mms teel case with a satin finish and polished bezel, along with the unmistakable crown-protecting bridge on the right side of the case. Water resistance is rated to 300 meters, underscoring the brand’s tool-watch heritage. The closed case back is engraved with “Limited Edition’’ and the individual serial number. Behind ticks Panerai’s automatic caliber P.9010, offering a three-day power reserve thanks to its twin barrels. The watch comes on a dark-brown calfskin strap and is delivered with a second black rubber strap.
Pricing is marked at $10,200 without taxes.
