Louis Erard Introduces the 2340 Collection

Louis Erard takes a bold step in a new direction with the launch of its 2340 collection—an elegant sports watch line with an integrated bracelet. Known in recent years for its regulator dials and artistic collaborations, the Jura-based brand now expands its portfolio with a design that embraces versatility and modern style. The name 2340 is derived from the postal code of Le Noirmont, the Swiss town where Louis Erard was founded and still resides today. Comprising of three variants, it stands out with a cushion-shaped case that balances round and angular elements in a harmonious form. Measuring 40mm in diameter and water resistant to 50 meters, it combines a brushed titanium middle section with polished stainless-steel accents on the bezel, lugs, crown, and case back. The integrated bracelet continues the theme with wide brushed titanium outer links and slim, rounded inner links made of polished steel. Each component is carefully beveled by hand and equipped with a butterfly clasp with an integrated spring mechanism ensures comfort and ease of use.

The new collection debuts in three variations, each offering its own distinctive character. The mint dial features a “pill” pattern that subtly incorporates the Louis Erard logo into the texture. The other iterations—blue and slate—are distinguished by a horizontal pattern that echoes the structure of the bracelet links. Rhodium-plated hands with Super-LumiNova C1 emitting a blue glow provide legibility in all lighting conditions.

Inside ticks the self-winding Sellita SW300-1 caliber, a first for Louis Erard. The movement offers a power reserve of 56 hours and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Part of the current collection, the 2340 is priced at CHF2,900 or approximately $3,650 when converted to USD.
