Introducing the Bremont x Felix the Cat

A stealth-black pilot’s watch built to survive an ejection seat test now features aviation’s most mischievous good-luck charm. With the new Altitude MB Meteor “Felix the Cat,” Bremont proves that serious tool watches can still have a sense of humor.

With the Altitude MB Meteor “Felix the Cat,” Bremont teams up with Universal Products & Experiences to merge authentic military aviation engineering with one of the most recognizable characters in pop culture in a limited edition of 500 pieces. Felix the Cat’s aviation roots run deeper than mere nostalgia. Long associated with U.S. Navy squadrons, most notably VFA-31, the “Tomcatters,” whose insignia prominently features the character, Felix has symbolized courage and good fortune in the cockpit for generations. The campaign slogan “Watch Your Six” references classic fighter-pilot clock-position terminology, reinforcing the connection between character and cockpit. The Altitude MB Meteor was the natural canvas to help Felix to a new entrance. Since 2002, Bremont’s MB series has been engineered in partnership with Martin-Baker, designed to withstand the punishing conditions of ejection seat testing. In 2025, the brand introduced the Altitude MB Meteor as a refined evolution of the concept, streamlined yet retaining the DNA that has defined the line for over 16 years. For this edition, the 42mm Grade 2 titanium Trip-Tick case receives a full black DLC treatment, paired with a knurled PVD titanium barrel and matching crowns. The result is an unapologetically stealth aesthetic.

Felix appears directly on the matte black dial, quite literally running off with the numeral 6. All applied numerals and indexes are filled with white Superluminova emitting blue light and ensuring optimal legibility. The inner bi-directional Roto-Click bezel, operated via the signature 4 o’clock crown, remains a core MB feature. One of the line’s most distinctive details also returns: the looped “ejection” pull handle counterweight on the seconds hand, executed in vivid yellow and black. The minute track follows suit in bold yellow, creating sharp visual contrast against the monochrome case while nodding to aviation safety cues.

Turn the watch over and the exhbition case back reveals Felix-themed decoration alongside Bremont’s BB14-AH automatic movement, based on a La Joux-Perret caliber. The gunmetal-gray movement finished with Geneva stripes operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a 68-hour power reserve. True to MB tradition, the movement is suspended within a flexible rubber mount to absorb shocks, while a soft-iron ring shields it from magnetic interference.

The 42mm case measures 49.3mm lug-to-lug and 12.23mm in height and is water-resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM). Bremont offers the watch with a quick-release black DLC-coated titanium bracelet or a textured black leather-and-rubber strap with box-stitch detailing. Pricing is marked at $6,850 on bracelet and at $6,450 on leather strap.
