Hermès H08: New Blue and White Editions

Hermès expands its contemporary sports watch collection with two 39mm H08 models featuring ceramic bezels, contrasting dial details, and matching rubber straps. Both are powered by the manufacture H1837 movement and combine lightweight cases with a distinctive cushion-shaped design.

Hermès introduces two new color ways to the H08 collection, bringing fresh blue and white accents to its elegant contemporary sports watch collection introduced in 2021. Both models retain the H08’s characteristic 39mm cushion-shaped case, here made from braided glass-fiber composite coated with aluminum. A ceramic bezel, with a satin-brushed surface and mirror-polished chamfers, adds a contrasting finish to the unmistakable style. Both watches are equipped with a screw-locked crown, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protecting the dial and are water resistant to 10 bar.

Signature Hermès Style

The blue iteration combines a rhodium-plated, sandblasted dial with the radially-positioned applied Arabic hour markers on the outermost sector. They are coated with blue Super-LumiNova. A blue minute track and blue PVD-coated baton-style hands with luminous coating reinforce the monochromatic look, while orange accents on the inner track and the tip of the second hands add a contrasting detail. The white edition takes a more restrained approach with a white lacquered dial, ruthenium-plated Arabic numerals, a gray minute track, and black-gold hands, all coated with Super-LumiNova for legibility. Here, too, a small date window is integrated at the 4:30 position.

Manufacture Caliber H1837

Inside both models is the Hermès manufacture Caliber H1837, a beautifully finished self-winding movement that can be admired through the case back. Comprising of 193 components, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, and provides a power reserve of 50 hours.
