Introducing the Bell & Ross BR-05 Grey Mirror Steel
Polished Steel as a Design Statement
Launched in 2019, the BR-05 collection marked Bell & Ross’s move into the world of integrated-bracelet sports watches. The Grey Mirror Steel now takes this concept a step further with a deliberately reduced, almost sculptural aesthetic. The case, bracelet and dial share the same visual language of polished and satin-finished steel, creating the impression of a watch carved from a single block of metal. Monomaterial, monochrome and uncompromisingly minimalist, the design feels both contemporary and architectural.

At Bell & Ross, stainless steel has always been more than a purely functional choice – and in the BR-05 Grey Mirror Steel it becomes the defining design element. The interplay between mirror polishing and satin brushing gives the surface remarkable depth and liveliness, capturing and reflecting light with every movement of the wrist. This dynamic treatment of steel creates a fascinating contrast with the brand’s typically sober, instrument-inspired design codes. The dial underscores this purist approach. Finished in high-gloss, it features rhodium-plated indexes and hands, all mirror-polished to echo the case. To maintain visual clarity and symmetry, Bell & Ross has intentionally omitted a date display, allowing the refined geometry and flawless surfaces to take center stage.

The familiar square BR-05 case measures a compact 40mm in diameter and just 10.5mm in height, ensuring comfortable wear and a balanced profile on the wrist. Inside beats the automatic BR-CAL.321-1 caliber, offering a 54-hour power reserve and visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters, reinforcing the sporty credentials of the BR-05 line.
The BR-05 Grey Mirror Steel is available either on a polished and satin-finished stainless steel bracelet or on a black rubber strap, both fitted with a folding clasp. Pricing is set at $6,300 on the bracelet and $5,800 on the rubber strap.
