The name says it all: The Spirit of Big Bang, first introduced in 2014, is a bold evolution of Hublot's iconic Big Bang collection. While the Big Bang is renowned for its distinctive round case, the Spirit of Big Bang stands out with its tonneau-shaped design that has been brought to life in many of the luxury brand's signature materials, such as black ceramic, King Gold (Hublot's proprietary gold alloy), and titanium.

At this year's LVMH Watch Week, Hublot unveiled a first in the collection: three new colored ceramic variants of the Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph. The new hues— Sand Beige, Dark Green, and Sky Blue— add a fresh aesthetic to the sought-after skeletonized design of this self-winding chronograph. In typical Hublot fashion, the micro-blasted and polished cases are water-resistant to 100 meters and equipped with a sapphire crystal case back. They measure 42mm wide and 14.1mm thick.

The open-worked dials are furnished with matching hour markers, chronograph counters, and hands. They display fascinating vistas of the skeletonized HUB4700 self-winding caliber, such as the date wheel, with the current date being displayed between 4 and 5 o'clock through a likewise color-coordinated window. An updated descendant of the legendary El Primero, this high-frequency integrated chronograph caliber beats at 5 Hz and offers a power reserve of 50 hours.

The black rubber straps with colored central inlay also match the colors of the ceramic cases. They are equipped with Hublot's One Click fastening system to swap out watch straps without needing special tools. The system is built into the lugs of the watch, allowing wearers to attach or remove straps with a simple "click" mechanism.

Each model is limited to just 200 pieces and comes with a price tag of $27,400.
