Zesty Summer Shades: Rado Welcomes the Season with New Colorful Anatom Models
Rado is ringing in the summer in bold style with three vibrant new additions to its Anatom collection. Introducing the Anatom Lemon, Lime, and Grapefruit: a colorful trio that brings seasonal freshness to the wrist with bright rubber straps and matching dégradé dials, all housed in the collection’s signature rectangular case.
Few watchmakers embody innovation and design quite like Rado. The Swiss brand has long been at the forefront of horological material research, pioneering the use of sapphire crystal, ceramic, high-tech ceramic, and plasma high-tech ceramic. These advancements aren’t just about performance— they’ve become the foundation for Rado’s unmistakably sleek aesthetic. Decades of technical refinement and an eye for timeless design have made Rado’s timepieces modern classics that transcend fleeting trends.
Among those icons is the Anatom, a model that originally debuted in 1983 and returned in 2023 to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Now, Rado adds a splash of summer flair to the collection with three fruity colorways inspired by citrus tones: sunny lemon zellow, vibrant lime green, and bold grapefruit red.
Like all Anatom models, the new releases prioritize comfort, featuring an ergonomic case design that curves naturally to the wrist. The watches measure 32.5 x 46.3 x 11.3mm and are water-resistant to 50 meters. At 6 o’clock sits a date window, framed within a striking dial that transitions from light to dark in a gradient effect—a stylish nod to the popular dégradé trend.
True to Rado’s ethos of blending cutting-edge technology with design, the new Anatom watches feature cases made from the brand’s latest generation of high-tech ceramic. A bezel in polished black ceramic contrasts with the vivid dials, while the sapphire crystal—cylindrical and subtly beveled—is treated with inner anti-reflective coating and black metallization to ensure excellent legibility.
The middle case is crafted from sandblasted stainless steel with a sleek black PVD coating, and the exhibition case back reveals the beating heart of the watch: the Rado Caliber R766 (based on the ETA A31.111). This automatic movement features a Nivachron anti-magnetic hairspring, is tested in five positions, and offers a robust 72-hour power reserve.
Pricing is marked at $3,350.
