Armin Strom Tribute 1 Green, A Verdant Recasting of Visible Mechanics

The Tribute 1 Green infuses the brand’s vision of a modern dress watch with a vibrant dial that recalls the calming depth of a woodland stroll, while preserving the model’s signature blend of visible mechanics and meticulous finishing.

Following the Tribute 1 Sandstein introduced a couple of weeks ago, Armin Strom introduces the Tribute 1 Green, a new interpretation of its acclaimed modern dress watch. Where the Tribute 1 Sandstein paid homage to natural stone surrounding the home of the Swiss independent brand with its sand-like color, the new green edition channels the refreshing energy of nature, uniting vivid aesthetics with the collection’s mechanical finesse.

The star of the watch is its vibrant green dial, which is a study in traditional finishings. True to the Tribute 1’s DNA, its layout comprises of the off-center time indication, enriched with an intricate guilloché pattern and paired with polished rhodium, partially skeletonized hands. Roman numerals and a rail-track minute highlight the classic allure. A frosted small-seconds subdial adds further refinement, while the visible barrel, held in place by a bevelled and mirror-polished finger bridge to reflect light from every angle, underscores the watch’s technical sophistication. The dial is framed by a 38mm steel case, measuring just 9.38mm in height. Its alternating brushed and polished finishes underscore Armin Strom’s dedication to detail, while the crown at 2 o’clock adds an unconventional touch.
