Armin Strom introduces the Tribute 1 Sandstein, a refined addition to its celebrated contemporary dress watch line. With its earthy sand-colored palette and finely executed details, the new model draws inspiration from the sandstone of Burgdorf, the Swiss town where the independent manufacture was founded. For centuries, the native Burgdorf sandstone has shaped the region’s architecture and identity, standing as a symbol of permanence and craftsmanship. In the Tribute 1 Sandstein, this legacy is translated into horology with restrained elegance.

The watch features a sand-toned, off-center dial, enriched with a traditional grain d’orge guilloché pattern and Roman numerals, paired with a frosted sub dial for seconds and polished rhodium hands. Its warm, textured surface echoes the natural qualities of the stone itself. On the dial side, the movement’s visible motor barrel, secured by a mirror-polished finger bridge, provides both functional presence and visual intrigue, underscoring the independent brand’s pursuit of making the beauty of mechanics visible.
