Blancpain is broadening the appeal of its Villeret collection with the introduction of a new 38mm Villeret Ultraplate and two compact Villeret Phases de Lune models measuring 29.2mm in diameter. Designed for watch lovers who favor more restrained proportions, the new references combine the timeless aesthetics of the Villeret line with contemporary refinements introduced across the collection last year. Among the highlights is a first: a sunburst salmon dial paired with black-finished gold numerals, adding a fresh expression to one of Blancpain’s most traditional collections.

A Collection Living Up to its Name

The Villeret Ultraplate has long been one of Blancpain’s purest expressions of the dress watch. While the established 40mm version remains in the collection, the new 38mm model offers a more compact alternative highlighting the watch’s elegant profile. At just 8.35mm thick, the case is available in stainless steel or 18-karat red gold. Blancpain is also releasing a boutique-exclusive two-tone model featuring a stainless-steel case, solid yellow-gold numerals, a gold-toned opaline dial, and an olive-green nubuck alligator strap.

Even More Refined

The new models incorporate the design updates first introduced across the Villeret collection in the fall of 2025. Roman numerals crafted from solid 18-karat gold now feature satin-brushed tops and polished bevels, while the traditional Roman numeral XII has been replaced by the JB monogram, honoring the company's founder Jehan-Jacques Blancpain. Additional updates include slimmer leaf-shaped hands filled with Superluminova for improved legibility in low-light conditions and a larger date aperture at 3 o’clock. A slim double bezel frames the elegant composition, allowing it to fully express its refined character.

The Signature Moon Phase in 29.2mm

Alongside the Ultraplate models, Blancpain is introducing two new Villeret Phases de Lune references in a compact 29.2mm case measuring 10.35mm thick. The moon-phase display remains one of the manufacture’s signature complications, featuring the familiar smiling moon with an entourage of stars set against a blue ceramic disc. The gold-toned opaline dial is complemented by diamond-set hour markers and a diamond-set bezel, while a blue serpentine hand indicates the date.
