Introducing the Christopher Ward The Trident 30x30
A colorful dive watch with a purpose
A Dive Watch Inspired by and Benefitting the Ocean
With the Trident 30x30, Christopher Ward introduces a colorful new interpretation of its contemporary dive watch platform. Limited to 500 pieces, the model combines the robust design and practical specifications expected of a modern diving watch with a cool style inspired by the colors and movement of the ocean, particularly the parrotfish. This species known for its striking appearance and its important role in maintaining the health of coral reefs. The limited edition was created in partnership with Blue Marine, an organization dedicated to protecting and restoring marine ecosystems. Christopher Ward will donate £30 from every Trident 30x30 sold to Blue Marine’s 30x30 Ocean Action Plan, which supports the global goal of protecting at least 30 percent of the world’s oceans by 2030.
The Trident 30x30
Christopher WardThe watch is housed in Christopher Ward’s four-part Trident Reef case, which combines a stainless-steel core with a lightweight matte-aluminum shroud. The bright parrotfish-blue aluminum continues across the unidirectional rotating bezel, giving the watch a distinctive appearance while retaining the functional character of the Trident collection.
The Trident 30x30
Christopher WardThe 41mm case measures 11.45mm in height and 47.9mm from lug to lug. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a screw-down crown and screw-down case back contribute to water resistance of 200 meters. These specifications make the Trident 30x30 suitable not only for everyday wear but also for swimming, water sports, and diving.

Christopher WardA Dial that Catches the Waves
The dial features a custom-stamped wave pattern designed to evoke the movement of ocean currents. Finished in the same parrotfish-blue tone as the aluminum case shroud and bezel, the textured surface creates a cohesive appearance while adding visual depth. Diamond-polished hour markers and hands provide contrast against the blue background. Both are filled with Superluminova Grade X1 for improved legibility in low-light conditions. The bright coral-colored central seconds hand adds a vivid accent and stands out clearly against the dial.

Christopher WardA Supercharged Movement
Inside the Trident 30x30 is Sellita’s new SW200-2 Power+ automatic movement, making its first appearance in Christopher Ward’s contemporary Trident platform. The recently updated caliber provides a power reserve of 65 hours, representing a substantial increase over the standard SW200-2. The movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz, or 28,800 vibrations per hour, and is specified with a daily rate of between -5 and +12 seconds. Rather than using an exhibition case back, Christopher Ward has fitted the watch with a closed, screw-down one. The deeply stamped “Blue Marine Foundation” and “30x30” inscriptions are polished, providing a visual reference to the collaboration behind the limited edition.
