Maurice Lacroix once again teams up with Label Noir, marking the third collaboration with the renowned Geneva studio known for its modern craftsmanship, progressive finishing techniques, and bold use of materials. This time, the canvas is the Aikon Manufacture Skeleton, one of the brand’s most expressive three-hand models, powered by an in-house skeletonized movement. The result is a timepiece that plays masterfully with light and shadow, reinforcing the Aikon’s urban DNA while adding an almost mystical, cinematic presence on the wrist. The Aikon Automatic Label Noir is limited to 100 pieces. It features a 45mm steel case finished with deep black coating that emphasizes the distinctive architecture of the collection. Brushed and polished surfaces highlight the unmistakable Aikon design, including the six signature claws on the bezel. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the newcomer underscores the Aikon’s positioning as a contemporary luxury sports watch with everyday versatility.

Beneath the dark-tinted sapphire crystal with a gradient, the skeletonized in-house caliber ML234 takes center stage. The movement reveals key components such as the balance wheel, skeletonized barrel, and a distinctive mainplate constructed from five concentric circles. Legibility remains a priority: the black facetted hour and minute hands are filled with turquoise Superluminova, ensuring readability day and night. The color accents are extend to the minute ring around the dial’s periphery and the seconds hand, adding a vivid contrast to the otherwise monochrome palette.

The automatic ML234 manufacture movement offers a 48-hour power reserve and can also be admired through the black tinted sapphire case back. The watch is fitted with a gray nubuck strap featuring a M-logo and a black DLC butterfly buckle, and is delivered with a second turquoise rubber strap embossed with “MAURICE LACROIX,” both equipped with the brand’s Easychange system.
