Sponsored: Fortis Expands the Stratoliner with Four New Space-Tested Editions

Fortis expands its mission-ready Stratoliner collection with four new S-41 models: the fiery Reentry Edition, stealthy Gravity Black, and two ultra-limited Supernova editions in Cool Gray and Cosmic Gray. Each watches showcases the space-tested Werk 17 and a distinct design innovation.

Mission-driven, Fortis has long been a brand creating purpose-built tool watches for the stratosphere and beyond. Continuing this storied legacy, the watchmaker now introduces four striking new Stratoliner S-41 models. Each debut demonstrates the rugged capability of the space-tested Werk 17 chronograph, all while bringing novel, distinct looks to the collection.

At the core of each new release is the Stratoliner S-41 architecture— a 41mm case crafted from recycled stainless steel and engineered for durability with 200 meters of water resistance. The profile measures 51mm lug-to-lug and 15mm in height, striking a balance between robustness and daily wearability. A smoked sapphire caseback, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and the brand’s signature Orbit Bezel reinforce the tool-watch ethos, while a screw-down crown with a triple gasket system ensures reliability under pressure.

Inside, the automatic Werk 17 calibre delivers a 60-hour power reserve, column-wheel chronograph functionality, and chronometer-level precision, all proven in real-world spaceflight testing. Super-Luminova X1 accents guarantee clarity in any environment, and each model is delivered in the Fortis Alpha Box complete with warranty, performance certificate, and tools for easy strap or bracelet changes.

Stratoliner Reentry Edition

Forged in fire and inspired by the most extreme phase of space travel, the Reentry Edition captures the spectacle of atmospheric reentry on its one-of-a-kind dial. Each titanium dial undergoes high-pressure compression before being exposed to open flame, creating unique copper, violet, and deep-blue tones, with no two dials alike. This titanium construction also ensures stability against magnetization. A “ONE OF A KIND” engraving on the caseback underscores its individuality.

Stratoliner Gravity Black

The first Stratoliner with a DLC-coated case, the Gravity Black pushes durability to stealth-grade levels. Its recycled stainless steel case is hardened to 4,500 Vickers, nearly 20 times tougher than standard steel. The matte graphite finish minimizes reflection, while a smoked sapphire caseback and Orbit Bezel emphasize performance design. Black metallic hands with Super-Luminova X1 and a stardust-textured dial complete the mission-ready aesthetic.

Stratoliner Supernova Cool Gray

In a strictly limited edition of 13 pieces, the Supernova Cool Gray introduces a refined and understated expression of the Stratoliner spirit. Its stardust dial is paired with 3N gold-plated hands and green-glowing Super-Luminova markers, set against the quiet radiance of a solid 18K gold ring embedded in the case. The Werk 17 calibre ensures tested reliability under real-world space conditions, while each piece bears the engraving “ONE OF 13.”

Stratoliner Supernova Cosmic Gray

Released alongside the Cool Gray, the Cosmic Gray Supernova is equally limited to 13 examples. Its darker tone lends the model a more mysterious presence, highlighted again by golden details and the signature 18K gold case ring. Each edition is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and exclusive distribution.
