WatchTime covered the JCK 2014 and Couture 2014 watch and jewelry trade shows in Las Vegas extensively. Here's a look back at Oris, we'll revisit the brand's new watches for pilots, the Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot Day-Date and Oris Big Crown Timer Chronograph. The Oris Big Crown ProPilot Day-Date — from the new ProPilot collection that Oris introduced at Baselworld 2014 — is designed for enhance legibility in a cockpit, with larger calendar indications than previous Oris pilots' watches and Super-LumiNova-inlaid hands, numerals and indices against a black dial. Distinguishing the watch as part of Oris's aviation collection are the vintage-look coin-edge bezel, caseback and crown. The multi-part stainless steel case is water-resistant to 100 meters. The movement, Caliber 752, is visible through a clear sapphire caseback and features Oris's signature red rotor. The Oris Big Crown ProPilot Day-Date, which comes on a military-style canvas strap,  is priced from $1,750 (on a leather strap) to $1,950 (on a steel bracelet).

In addition to a chronograph function, the watch also displays the day and date and features an inner rotating bezel to set flight times. The movement is the Oris Caliber 675, based on the tried-and-true ETA 7750 chrono caliber. The Big Crown Timer Chronograph has sapphire crystals in the front and back and, like the ProPilot, a coin-edge bezel. The Oris Big Crown Timer Chronograph retails for $3,700.
