The Game Is On: Hamilton Returns to Call of Duty with Special Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm

Hamilton has been making field-ready military watches since the early 20th century, while in more recent decades the brand has become equally familiar on the big and small screen, with appearances in more than 500 film and television productions. In 2025, the American-born brand expanded that entertainment presence into the world of gaming with its first collaboration with the Call of Duty franchise. Now, Hamilton returns with the Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Special Edition, a hand-wound field watch inspired by one of the game’s most recognizable characters.

Inspired by Captain Price

The watch is based on the timepiece worn by Captain Price in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. His background in the British armed forces is reflected in the design, which takes cues from the General Service watches historically issued to British military personnel. The 38mm stainless steel case is sandblasted and finished in black PVD, giving the watch a tactical appearance. At just 9.5mm thick, it is notably slim for a field watch, preserving the compact proportions and wearability associated with historic military timepieces. The 20mm lug width accommodates a khaki-green textile strap with a black PVD pin buckle.

The black dial features a pronounced grained texture that reinforces the rugged character of the watch. At 4 o’clock, the Arabic numeral is rendered in the distinctive typography of the game’s “4,” while the yellow-tipped seconds hand and yellow pilot triangle reference a recurring visual element from the Modern Warfare 4 universe. The hour markers and hands are treated with Superluminova Grade X2 for improved legibility in low-light conditions.

Hand-Wound Field Watch

The new model is also the first Hamilton x Call of Duty watch to use a manually-wound movement. Hamilton’s H-50 offers an 80-hour power reserve and is fitted with a Nivachron balance spring for increased resistance to magnetic fields.  The solid case back is engraved with the “soundwave” motif associated with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, adding a discreet gaming reference to the otherwise military-inspired design. The Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Special Edition, reference H69469930, will be released on October 23 to coincide with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
