Since its redesign in 2021, Swiss watchmaker, Fortis, had introduced a variety of new additions to its Marinemaster line. The latest is the new Marinemaster M-44 Black Resin Gold. As its name suggests, the dive watch features a bidirectional bezel partly made of 18-karat yellow gold, while the case is crafted from recycled stainless steel.

The displays and hands, including the luminous coating, are color-coordinated with the gold part of the bezel, creating a distinct contrast against the textured gray background. Behind this expressive dial, the caliber "Werk 11" powers the hands. The movement earns a C.O.S.C. chronometer certificate for proven precision and offers a "weekend-proof" power reserve of 70 hours.

This automatic movement is supplied by Swiss mechanical specialist, Kenissi. Well protected, it ticks behind a closed case back with a special message that translates to "No appointments and the horizon ahead." Attached to a rubber strap with the same decor as the dial, the edition is limited to 50 pieces. Retail is priced at $6,300.
