German watch brand Laco is known for its pilot watches, which have a long tradition rooted in so called "B-Watches", or observation timepieces used by military pilots. Now the brand introduces a new colorway in its budget-friendly Augsburg and Aachen collections. The two models, named after German cities, are now available in contemporary gray with a diameter of 39 or 42 mm, each on a stainless steel or calfskin strap.

The Augsburg Grau features a dial based on Laco's "Baumuster A" with hour markers from one to eleven and a triangle in lieu of the 12. The Aachen Grau features "Baumuster B" with the hour scale in the center framed by the minutes. The indexes, numerals and hands stand out from the background thanks to a coating with white luminous material. At the heart of the watches ticks self-winding Miyota 82S0, which displays its partially skeletonized rotor through its exhibition case back.

Pricing for the Laco Augsburg Grau and Aachen Grau is marked at $490 for the leather-strap variant and $560 for the bracelet-edition.
