Off the Beaten Paths: Meet the Circula ProTrail

The new ProTrail from German independent brand Circula is a picture-perfect field watch: measuring 40 mm in diameter and pressure-resistant to 15 bars—it is robust, functional, and versatile. The carefully hand-sandblasted stainless steel case is anti-magnetic up to 80,000 A/m thanks to a soft iron cage and protects the Sellita SW-200-1 caliber inside. A special surface treatment of the case ensures maximum scratch resistance up to 1,300 Vickers.

As is crucial for a field watch, the dial, in this version with a beige colorway, was designed with focused functionality in mind to ensure perfect readability. A requirement that the ProTrail meets thanks to luminescent coating on the numbers, indexes and hands. The inner ring with the numerals 13 to 24 is inspired by military use where soldiers tell the time as precisely as possible, for example "1600" (Sixteen Hundred).

The ProTrail is attached to a resilient Sailcloth strap and will be available in fall 2022 with a price tag of approximately $780 when converted to USD. There are two other options to choose from.
