This weekend, on the occasion of the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, Tudor has unveiled the new Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25.” Limited to just 2,025 pieces, this special edition of the legendary Black Bay Chrono takes to the race track in a forged carbon composite case with a livery inspired by the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Team, Tudor's Formula 1 partner since 2024.

The self-winding chronograph continues the long tradition of Tudor’s presence in motor sports that dates back to the 1950s, yet its "vehicle body," including the fixed bezel with tachymetric scale, and "motor" are a testament to how the Swiss brand continues to push the boundaries. Carbon fibre is a favorable material for the case of a racing chronograph thanks to its light weight and high durability.

42mm in diameter and water-resistant to 200 meters thanks to its diver's watch DNA, it encases the manufacture caliber MT5813’s, a column wheel chronograph with a vertical clutch that is derived from Breitling's B01 movement. Certified by the COSC as a chronometer and exceeding the daily variation of the institution's allowance by -2/+4 seconds of the encased movement, it boasts a 70-hour power reserve and a non-magnetic silicon balance spring.

While adopting the 2025 white-and-blue season livery of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One car, the "racing white" dial of the Black Bay Chrono "Carbon 25," whose base is made of carbon fibre too, remains faithful to the sought after Black Bay design. Furnished with the famous “Snowflake” hands – a brand signature for diver’s watches since 1969 – it displays a minute track and logo in blue, two black carbon fibre sub dials and date indication at 6 o'clock.

The Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” is attached to a hybrid rubber-leather strap with carbon endlinks and retails for $7,575.
