To mark its 190th anniversary, Longines is presenting a series of three exclusive timepieces from The Longines Master Collection, a line emblematic of its rich heritage. As the oldest registered watchmaker in the world, Longines has been setting benchmarks in many areas and in all elements throughout its history. From the first pilot's watches that accompanied aviation pioneers such as Charles A. Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart on their daring adventures, to various equestrian disciplines, to alpine ski racing and archery competitions. The cross-industry impact of Longines is undeniable.

In addition, Longines supports numerous projects and events and the brand has captured a prominent circle of worldwide ambassadors. Along with the uncompromising commitment to functionality and precision represented by the winged hourglass in the logo, an elegant aura is particularly close to the heart of the St. Imier-based brand. This theme remains true for the Longines Master Collection. Combining classic elegance and a touch of retro style, these three-hand watches are available in 40mm round cases in stainless steel and gold. The 18-carat yellow gold and rose gold versions are available in a limited edition of 190 pieces each.

The new timepieces stand out aesthetically through their harmonious proportions, craftsmanship, and special attention to detail. The grained anthracite, brushed grey, or sandblasted silver dials are distinguished by a unique finish and delicately engraved Arabic numerals. Elegant pink, gilt, or blued steel hands mark the passing hours, minutes and seconds, highlighting the dials’ refined purity.

At the heart of The Longines Master Collection 190th Anniversary ticks an exclusive Longines movement, Calibre L888.5. Beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour and equipped with a silicon balance spring, the self-winding movement guarantees high precision and delivers a power reserve of 72 hours. Refined finishing and decorations like Geneva Stripes on the oscillating weight and perlage on the main plate come to life through the transparent back, which features a commemorative engraving.

The Longines Master Collection 190th Anniversary Edition is available in stainless steel retailing for $2,400, the two gold executions have a price tag of $12,000. A soft, anthracite grey leather strap completes the style of the watch trio.
