Introducing the Bianchet Rotondo UltraFino Diamond

Bianchet combines Grade 5 titanium with white gold and baguette-cut diamonds in a new iteration of its ultra-thin flying tourbillon watch. The Rotondo UltraFino Diamond pairs a manufacture movement with 5,000 G shock resistance and 100-meter water resistance.

Today marks the final day of WatchTime New York 2026, and Sunday tickets are still available. Bringing together more than 40 watchmakers at Gotham Hall, the show offers a broad look at contemporary watchmaking, including the debut of the Bianchet Rotondo UltraFino Diamond. This new interpretation of the ultra-thin flying tourbillon combines sporty yet thin Grade 5 titanium case with the brilliance of a diamond-set white gold bezel that frames a skeletonized dial. Its manufacture movement is engineered to withstand shocks of up to 5,000 G. Combined with a water resistance to 10 ATM, these specifications make the haute horlogerie timepiece as technically resilient as it is refined.

A Circle of Diamonds

The new Rotondo UltraFino Diamond retains the collection’s characteristic round case and integrated bracelet, but introduces a precious-metal detail to its technical architecture. The 39.5mm case is made of Grade 5 titanium, with alternating satin-brushed surfaces and polished bevels. Measuring just 8.9mm thick, it is fitted with an 18-karat white gold bezel set with 40 natural baguette-cut diamonds. The gem stones accumulate a total weight of 1.6 carats and are graded F–G for color and VVS for clarity.

The linear cut of the diamonds contrasts with the circular bezel, creating a luminous frame around the openworked movement, which remains fully visible from the dial side. A white rubber gasket beneath the bezel provides a visual transition between the white gold and titanium case, echoing the additional white rubber strap supplied with the watch.

A 5,000 G Shock Resistance

Powering the watch is the Bianchet manufacture caliber UR01, an automatic flying tourbillon developed and assembled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Its openworked architecture follows the proportions of the Golden Ratio. Measuring just 3.85mm thick, it comprises 225 components. Its mainplate, bridges, and flying tourbillon cage are made of Grade 5 titanium, while a solid 18-karat rose gold central rotor, which is designed in accordance with the Fibonacci geometry, adds a contrasting warm tone. The UR01 provides a power reserve of 60 hours and is engineered to withstand shocks of up to 5,000 G. The skeletonized bridges are meticulously hand-finished, with more than 30 hours dedicated to bevelling alone.

Price and Availability

The Rotondo UltraFino Diamond comes with two interchangeable strap options. The integrated Grade 5 titanium bracelet, finished with satin-brushed and polished surfaces, emphasizes the architectural character of the case. Alternatively, the white rubber strap creates a lighter appearance, complementing the diamond-set bezel. The rubber strap features a quick-release system.
