Since its founding in 1884, Victorinox has been a steady champion of utility-driven style. From its now-iconic Swiss Army Knife, the brand has garnered a wide renown for reliable functionality in its products, with its modern collection of timepieces carrying that legacy forward. In the brand’s latest, the new I.N.O.X. Chrono, we see a continuation of this work, with the new design at once harkening to the essence of Victorinox historical identity while simultaneously speaking to the needs of today for a modern tool watch.

The new series of chronograph expands the existing I.N.O.X. collection, which since its debut in 2014 has been positioned as the brand’s built-for-anything range. Standing for “Impact Neutralizing Object for the X-tremes,” watches in the I.N.O.X. collection are extremely durable, making use of invaluable institutional knowledge in material science and manufacturing to provide timepieces that are field-tested and ready for more.

The I.N.O.X. Chrono is available in six options— including three steel models with either blue, red, or black dials, a full carbon edition, and one two-tone variant that makes use of a titanium case with a carbon bezel— with each model speaking to the diverse lifestyles of their wearers with an understated strength and intelligent design.

The silhouette of the case features a bold shape and sharp curves, with the re-worked signature bezel of the I.N.O.X. collection giving the impression it was itself carved by a sharp pocketknife. Textured chronograph pushers and a pair of sturdy guards flank a screw-down crown, while the watch’s ISO certification for shock and water resistance up to 200m speaks to its ability for maximum freedom for any adventure.

Underneath a sapphire crystal, the three-dimensional dial of the chronograph highlights a meticulous blend of practical style and sporty functionality. Available in a range of color options, the pattern takes inspiration from the brand’s signature Alox patten, echoing the same scaled texture on Victorinox’s Swiss Army Knife and paying homage to the brand’s heritage.

A horizontal chronograph layout provides a familiar framework to the look, while an additional day and date indicator provide greater weekly utility. Applied and lume-filled hour markers add to the watch’s all-purpose legibility, while matching running hour and minute indicators ensure a quick read. The counterweight of the second hand, reminiscent of the Swiss Army Knife, underscores the brand's attention to detail.

The new I.N.O.X. is not just a timekeeper; it's a symbol of reliability and punctuality with antimagnetic protection to avoid time inaccuracies, with a reliable quartz movement and 5-year warranty backing this up. As a brand deeply rooted in Swiss craftsmanship, Victorinox vertically integrates its manufacturing process. From stainless steel to the challenging crafting of titanium components, the brand takes pride in producing internal components in-house at its Watch Competence Center in Delémont, Switzerland. The result is a watch that not only tells time but narrates a story of expertise and quality.
