At the brink of fall, Tudor surprises with a new generation of the Pelagos diver's watch. In order to create a more versatile timepiece with a unisex appeal and an elegant touch, the diameter for the latest model has been reduced to 39mm. Additionally, the Pelagos 39 has its entrance in a satin-brushed grade 2 titanium case that boasts a water resistance of 200 meters.

Apart from the new case size, the debutante offers all the features that make this watch family sought-after by fans of tried-and-tested mechanical diver's watches. Above all, the watch features a the sunray-satin finish black dial with luminescent ceramic composite monobloc applied hour markers, a set of legendary "Snowflake" hands, as well as the unidirectional rotating bezel whose ceramic insert also shines with a fine satin-sunray finish.

The Pelagos 39 model is driven by the self-winding manufacture Calibre MT5400. Its construction has been designed to ensure robustness, longevity, reliability and precision, and features a variable inertia balance, which is held in place by a sturdy traversing bridge with two points of fixation. Thanks to this balance and the non-magnetic silicon balance spring, the movement, which amasses a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, earns a COSC chronometer certificate.

Tudor equips the Pelagos 39 with a satin-brushed titanium bracelet that boasts the Tudor “T-fit” clasp for rapid length adjustment. Easy to use with no tools required, this system allows the adjustment of the length of up to 8mm. This clasp also has a 25mm bracelet-extension function so that the watch can be worn over a wetsuit. In addition, it comes with a second strap made of black rubber that attaches to the case with titanium end links. Also included is a rubber extension piece that makes it possible to lengthen the strap even further, by up to 110mm.

Available on a non-limited basis, retail for the new Tudor Pelagos 39 is marked at $4,400.
