Introducing the Swatch Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold Cold Moon

The newest Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold Cold Moon takes the MoonSwatch phenomenon into snow-white territory, complete with a unique lasered snowflake on every moon phase disc. Like real snowflakes, no two watches are ever the same. Unique is also the latest sales concept, which requires snow in Switzerland.

The MoonSwatch success story keeps spinning, and for winter 2025 it gets a frosty new chapter— one written entirely in white. Launching on December 4, the day of the Cold Full Moon, the Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold Cold Moon channels snowy wonder, Speedmaster heritage, and just the right amount of Swatch playfulness. It also proves once again how endlessly creative the brand is when it comes to evolving (and re-evolving) this universe—every few months, Swatch finds another way to surprise us with a twist.

Just like its Earthphase predecessors, the Cold Moon edition sticks to the familiar 42mm Bioceramic format with its 13.75mm thickness and 47.30mm lug-to-lug length. The asymmetrical case, white Bioceramic crown and pushers, and the tachymeter bezel with the iconic dot-over-ninety are all present—because even a winter wonderland shouldn’t mess with Speedmaster DNA. The glass remains a box-shaped biosourced crystal featuring the subtle engraved “S,” a nod to Swatch’s signature.

But this time the whole watch is dipped in winter: the case, bezel, strap, and dial all arrive in crisp white Bioceramic, forming a blank canvas for its snowy storytelling. The dial retains the same Earthphase layout as previous models, but now appears in a frosty white opaline finish. Snoopy occupies the 9 o’clock position beneath the Earth phase indicator again, though here he’s bundled up with a snowy twist, watching at the familiar secret message that is revealed in the dark thanks to Super-LumiNova treatment. The moon phase indicator is where more magic happens. Set on a sparkly dark blue disc featuring two full moons coated in Omega’s Moonshine Gold, each piece receives a lasered snowflake that is unique.

Powering this winter tale is the same quartz chronograph movement used throughout the watch family. It handles chronograph seconds, moon phase, Earth phase, and standard timekeeping with the kind of no-nonsense precision that makes this model as practical as it is whimsical.

Available from December 4, 2025—the Cold Full Moon—until March 20, 2026, this edition introduces a new twist: after launch day, it will only be sold when snow is falling in Switzerland

Pricing is marked at $450.
