Each year on June 1st, Oris honors its founding date in 1904 with the launch of a special limited-edition timepiece. For 2025, the independent brand unveils the Hölstein Edition 2025, a striking reinterpretation of its ProPilot line, clad in matte black DLC and distinguished by a dial that comes to life in the dark.

Limited to just 250 numbered pieces, this year’s edition is the first in the ProPilot family to feature a full-lume dial. Coated with white Super-LumiNova, the watch face radiates a glowing green in low light–revealing an otherwise hidden silhouette of the Oris Bear nestled between 3 and 4 o’clock. This playful design element is complemented by bespoke matte black applied numerals and a full suite of luminous hands and markers, ensuring clear legibility at all hours.

The 41mm stainless steel case, fluted bezel, screw-down crown, and sapphire case back are all finished in durable, matte black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. Complementing the monochrome style, the watch is paired with a black fabric weave and leather lined strap.

Beneath the surface beats the Oris Calibre 400, the brand’s in-house automatic movement that has become a benchmark for robust, high-performance watchmaking. It offers an impressive five-day (120-hour) power reserve, runs with chronometer-level accuracy of -3/+5 seconds per day, and is engineered with elevated levels of anti-magnetism. As part of the Calibre 400 Series, it comes with a 10-year warranty and a 10-year recommended service interval when registered via MyOris.

A transparent sapphire case back reveals the movement and features a printed Super-LumiNova ring inscribed with ‘Hölstein Edition 2025’, tying together form, function, and storytelling. True to Hölstein Edition tradition, there’s no date window.

Available starting in June through Oris boutiques, select retailers, and the brand’s eShop, the Oris Hölstein Edition 2025 is priced at $5,000.
