Omega honors Armand Duplantis with a special edition of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M. The Swedish pole vaulter broke the world record for the eighth time in his sporting career with a jump of 6.24 meters on April 20. The reigning world and Olympic champion has been one of the Swiss brand's ambassadors since 2020.

Designed in the blue and yellow of the Swedish flag, this special edition features a number of exclusive details that refer to Mondo's sporting achievements. The 41mm stainless-steel timepiece is equipped with an integrated strap in blue rubber with yellow stitching.

The characteristic dial with its horizontal stripes echoes the color scheme: On the blue background, the Seamaster name and the quarter-hour numerals appear in yellow. An eye-catching feature is the central seconds hand, also in yellow with a lacquered finish, inspired by the shape of a pole vaulting baton. The Super-LumiNova coating on the top of the hand imitates the grip of the pole.

At the heart of the watch is the 8900 caliber. This self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement and free sprung silicon balance is a Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS. This certificate guarantees that the watch is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 Gauss. Two barrels in series store up to 60 hours of power reserve. The exhibition case back displays the rhodium-plated rotor and bridges decorated with arabesque Geneva Waves.
