Since its relaunch in 2004, the Overseas collection has become Vacheron Constantin's interpretation of the modern luxury sports watch. Combining elegant finishing at highest level with everyday practicality, the collection has evolved into one of the manufacture's signature lines, distinguished by its Maltese Cross-inspired bezel, integrated bracelet, and automatic manufacture movement. Now, the Geneva-based watchmaker expands the product family with two new self-winding references that introduce a more compact 34.5mm case size alongside expressive new lacquered dials.

Available in 18K 5N rose gold with a warm rose-gold-toned dial or in stainless steel with a rich deep red dial, the new models retain the sporty elegance that defines the Overseas while offering refined proportions suited to a broader range of wrists. The latest additions also feature Vacheron Constantin's signature interchangeable strap system, allowing the watches to transition effortlessly between different looks and occasions.

Water-resistant to 50 meters and a mere 9.3mm thick, the new 34.5 mm case sizes preserves all the hallmark design elements of the Overseas collection, including the hexagonal bezel inspired by the Maltese Cross and the integrated bracelet with its distinctive cross-shaped center links. Both models feature multi-layered lacquered dials with a sunburst satin-brushed center and a velvet-finished outer minutes track that creates a captivating play of light. The rose gold version pairs its monochromatic dial with matching 18K pink-gold hands and applied markers filled with blue Superluminova. In contrast, the steel model makes a bolder statement with its deep red dial, complemented by white-gold hands and markers, also treated with blue Superluminova for legibility in the dark.

The self-winding movement measures just 3.83mm in height while offering central hours, minutes, seconds, a date display, and a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz and consists of 144 components. It is wound by a the signature 22K gold rotor inspired by the nautical compass rose, which is finished in stunning detail.

Versatility remains one of the defining characteristics of the Overseas collection. Each watch is delivered with three interchangeable options: a metal bracelet, a textured rubber strap, and an alligator leather strap. The rose gold model comes with white rubber and white alligator straps, while the stainless steel version is paired with matching deep red rubber and glossy red alligator leather straps. Thanks to Vacheron Constantin's tool-free interchange system, the appearance of the watch can be transformed within seconds, making it equally suitable for casual wear, travel, or more formal occasions.
