TAG Heuer Explores New Horizons at Geneva Watch Days 2025
TAG Heuer arrives at Geneva Watch Days 2025 with a showcase that spans the full breadth of its technical and creative expertise. Leading the presentation is the launch of the TH-Carbonspring, a revolutionary hairspring oscillator developed entirely in-house, alongside the Carrera Astronomer, a modern take on the moonphase complication. Both launches illustrate TAG Heuer’s drive to enhance mechanical watchmaking.
TH-Carbonspring oscillator
TAG HeuerConceived and developed over ten years by the TAG Heuer LAB, the TH-Carbonspring oscillator improves the environmental resistance, shock absorption, and long-term stability of mechanical movements. The oscillator is resistant to magnetism, less affected by shocks, and benefits from the lightweight properties of carbon, increasing chronometric performance. The first watches to feature this technology are the Monaco Flyback Chronograph TH-Carbonspring and the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport TH-Carbonspring. Both models use forged carbon cases and dials, with a spiral motif echoing the hairspring’s shape. The Monaco Flyback Chronograph houses the in-house TH20-60 Calibre, an automatic chronometer-certified movement with an 80-hour power reserve. The Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport features the TH20-61 Calibre, an automatic chronometer-certified chronograph tourbillon with a 65-hour power reserve. Each watch is limited to 50 pieces.

Monaco Flyback Chronograph TH-Carbonspring
TAG HeuerThe Monaco, which will be available in December 2025, features a 39mm black forged carbon case, in the collection's signature square shape, a black carbon dial with spiral-shaped engraving, and a black rubber strap with textile embossing. The hour and minute hands and markers feature white Super-LumiNova for night-time readability. The sapphire crystal case back brings the motor, which offers a flyback function, to life.
Pricing is marked at CHF17,000 or approximately $21,250 when converted to USD.
Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport TH-Carbonspring
The Carrera’s 44mm forged carbon case houses a black carbon dial with spiral engraving and a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. A black rubber strap and forged carbon bezel with tachymeter complete the design. Like the Monaco, the watch is water resistant to 100 meters and equipped with a sapphire crystal that displays its intriguing inner workings, such as the mainplate with a checkered pattern and the skeletonized rotor.
Calibre TH20-61
TAG HeuerThe Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport TH-Carbonspring will be available in the first quarter of 2026, with a retail price of CHF40,000 or approximately $49,700 when converted to USD.
Carrera Astronomer
Carrera Astronomer
TAG HeuerThe Carrera Astronomer introduces a contemporary approach to the moonphase, a complication rarely seen in the brand's modern-day collection. Unlike traditional, often symbolic moonphase indications, TAG Heuer’s approach favors accuracy and legibility, offering a clear visualization of the moon’s position across its 29.5-day orbit. Each day at 1:00 AM, the lunar disc makes its precise advancement, mirroring the real-world movement of the moon.
Carrera Astronomer
TAG HeuerThe watch also resonates with TAG Heuer’s long-standing connection to space. In 1962, astronaut John Glenn wore a specially modified Heuer 2915A stopwatch aboard NASA’s Friendship 7 spacecraft, relying on it as he orbited Earth three times.
TAG Heuer presents three variations of the Astronomer, all in stainless steel. The first pairs a silver sunray dial with black and gray accents. A limited-edition model of 500 pieces features turquoise Super-LumiNova highlights on the dial and hands and is complemented by a gray leather strap. A second 500-piece limited edition adds rose gold tones to the case, hands, and flange, paired with a two-tone bracelet. Each watch measures 39mm in diameter and is water resistant to 100 meters.

TAG HeuerThe case backs display an astronomical observatory motif with a Victory Wreath engraving. Behind them ticks TAG Heuer's self-winding Calibre 7 with a power reserve of up to 56 hours.
Pricing start at CHF4,350 or approximately $5,420 when converted to USD.
