Less than a month away, Chopard will present its latest addition to the L.U.C Full Strike collection at WatchTime New York 2024. The annual event, taking place at Gotham Hall from October 18 to 20, will feature some of the most exciting novelties of the year from over thirty-five brands. The new L.U.C Full Strike Titanium is among them, with the 20-piece limited edition being Chopard’s first Full Strike model housed in ceramicized titanium, bringing a new look and material to the series.

On the wrist, the L.U.C Full Strike Titanium wears 42.5mm across, being produced with an anthracite ceramicized titanium case. This innovative material choice not only reduces weight for added comfort, but also enhances the durability and scratch resistance of the watch. The matte anthracite finish adds a bold, modern touch to the otherwise traditional aesthetic of the Full Strike collection, maintaining Chopard’s commitment to combining function with elegance.

The new watch introduces a verdigris-shaded dial that makes use of a lacquering with a chic frosted look. A collection-signature handset glides over the finely detailed surface, while applied indices and touches of black and white help bring the entire display to life. The final details are in its complications, which in addition to a power reserve indicator also include the open-work section of the dial which displays the watch’s signature minute repeater.

Inside the impressive watch is the L.U.C Calibre 08.01-L, a hand-wound movement first introduced in previous Full Strike models, and which features monobloc sapphire gongs integrated directly into the case. This technology was developed to preserve acoustic quality of the minute repeater for its use with novel materials, with the watch as a result able to produce a clear, rich chime that fully resonates when the mechanism is activated.

In addition to its complications and meticulous finishing, the movement holds a 60-hour power reserve, is a certified chronometer, and bears the Poinçon de Genève hallmark.

The Chopard L.U.C Full Strike Titanium is limited to just 20 pieces, with each individually numbered. Pricing is available from the brand upon request.
