Parmigiani Fleurier Unveils Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Agave Blue in Stainless Steel and Rose Gold

Parmigiani Fleurier expands its acclaimed Tonda PF collection with a refined Agave Blue dial, offered in stainless steel and 18K rose gold. A study in contemporary minimalism, the timepiece pairs mechanical sophistication with the subtle chromatic elegance, the independent brand is known for.

Since its launch in 2021, the Tonda PF collection has exemplified Parmigiani Fleurier’s vision of contemporary haute horlogerie and, as the brand calls it "private luxury": restrained, precise, and enduring. Celebrated for its understated luxury and architectural clarity, the line emphasizes proportion, harmony, and functional elegance over ornamentation. The latest addition, the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Agave Blue, further refines this philosophy with a choice of stainless steel or rose gold, paired with a nuanced, light-responsive dial color inspired by nature.

Agave Blue occupies a space between mineral blue, botanical green, and soft gray. Its depth and character reveal themselves gradually on the signature hand-guilloché dial. Shifting with light and movement, it creates a restrained yet sophisticated expression on the hallmark Grain d’Orge motif that serves as a background for the twelve applied hour markers and two skeletonized and delta-shaped hands. Parmigiani Fleurier treats color as a material in itself, layering and calibrating it to integrate seamlessly with the collection’s chromatic identity.

Measuring 40mm in diameter and a slim 7.8mm in height, the case, meticulously polished and satin finished, is available in polished and satin-finished stainless steel or 18K rose gold, with a fluted bezel adding tactile definition. Both versions feature a screwed-down crown and offer 100 m water resistance.

At the heart of the watch is the automatic PF703 movement, distinguished by a platinum micro-rotor that allows for a remarkably slim profile while maintaining a 48-hour power reserve. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and is composed of 166 components. Its measures just 3.07mm in height. Its high-end finishes include Côtes de Genève, perlage, and bevelled bridges. The platinum micro-rotor is decorated with a Grain d’Orge guilloché, echoing the finishing of the dial.
