Bremont Expands the Terra Nova Jumping Hour with a New Case Size And Dial Options
Geneva Watch Days 2026
Since its introduction in 2024, Bremont's Terra Nova Jumping Hour has combined the rugged character of a traditional field watch with a distinctly contemporary design. At this year's Geneva Watch Days, the British watchmaker is expanding the collection with five new variants. The most important feature is a new 35mm case size, bringing the unusual jumping-hour display to a more compact format for the first time, while retaining the water-resistance to 100 meters. New burgundy and pink colorways, along with distinctive frosted finishes, further broaden the range. The collection takes its cues from military pocket and trench watches of the early 20th century, reinterpreting their functional style in a geometric, cushion-shaped case with a decidedly slim profile and short lugs.
A Specially Designed Movement
All five models are powered by Bremont’s BC634 automatic caliber, developed exclusively by the British brand in collaboration with Sellita. Its defining feature is the jumping-hour mechanism: when the hour changes, the hour disc advances to the next numeral in less than one-tenth of a second. The BC634 operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, and provides a power reserve of 54 hours.
Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour
BremontA Distinctive Approach to Displaying the Time
The new Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour takes the collection in a noticeably more compact direction. Its 904L stainless-steel case measures very wearable 35mm in diameter and just 8.9mm in height. Rather than using a conventional dial, the watch features a large brushed-steel front. Two openings at 12 and 6 o’clock display the hours and minutes, while Bremont’s engraved Wayfinder logo occupies the center. The jumping-hour aperture has its own sapphire crystal, while the minute display is covered by a separate magnifying sapphire crystal. The watch is available either on a 904L stainless-steel bracelet for $4,800 and on a gray nubuck-leather strap for $4,550.
Terra Nova Jumping Hour 35mm Frosted
BremontBremont also applies the 35mm format to the limited-edition Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted. Limited to 150 pieces, this version is distinguished by a highly textured surface treatment that creates an appearance reminiscent of numerous tiny diamond facets catching the light, creating a nice contrast with the polished bezel. The monochrome appearance ist continued by the gray nubuck-leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching. Pricing is marked at $5,150.
Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Burgundy
BremontBurgundy Makes Its Entrance
With the Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Burgundy, Bremont takes a more conventional approach to the dial while retaining the unusual jumping-hour display. Its burgundy lacquer dial features a sunray finish, with the hour aperture positioned at 12 o’clock and the minute display at 6 o’clock. A central seconds hand and applied markers complete the layout. The polished and satin-finished stainless-steel case measures 35mm across, however 10.3mm thick. The Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Burgundy is priced at $4,300 on the stainless-steel bracelet and $4,000 on a burgundy leather strap.
Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Burgundy
BremontThe burgundy treatment is also available in the larger Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Burgundy. Here, Bremont retains the original 40.5mm case size but positions both the hour and minute apertures to 9 o’clock. Here too, a central seconds hand is aboard. Pricing is marked at $4,300 for the bracelet version and at $4,000 for the iteration paired with the color-coordinated strap.
Terra Nova Jumping Hour 35mm Frosted Pink
BremontAdding the boldest splash of color to the new lineup is the limited-edition Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted Pink, produced in just 200 pieces. Its pink sunray-finished lacquer dial is accented by alternating star- and diamond-shaped hour markers, while the 35mm stainless-steel case combines polished surfaces with Bremont’s distinctive frosted treatment. A light-pink nubuck-leather strap completes the playful yet refined look. This version retails for $4,900.
