Hublot Introduces the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo

For their fourth collaboration, Hublot and Yohji Yamamoto return to a shared obsession: black as essence, not absence. Limited to 300 pieces, the new Classic Fusion All Black Camo translates monochrome camouflage into an elegant study of texture, depth, and movement.

Hublot and Yohji Yamamoto continue their creative dialogue with the Classic Fusion All Black Camo. Marking the duo’s first collaboration based on the elegant Classic Fusion platform, the limited edition of 300 pieces elevates black beyond color into a visual language shaped by material, surface, and contrast. Matte ceramic, monochrome camouflage, and a hybrid strap fuse fashion and watchmaking into a singular, restrained statement.

Building on Hublot’s pioneering All Black concept introduced in 2006 and Yohji Yamamoto’s radical use of black since his Paris debut in 1981, the watch reflects a shared belief that true luxury lies not in shine, but in substance and reduction. Here, camouflage is reinterpreted on the dial through Yamamoto’s lens as a tonal relief, black on black, revealing itself only through changing light and motion. The date indication at 3 o'clock is also coordinated with the overall dark theme. Except for the eleven hour markers and the three hands, the dial foregoes any further visual elements.

Measuring 42mm wide and 10.1mm thick, the case, including the bezel with the signature six H-style screws, is crafted from microblasted black ceramic. Its matte surface highlights the refined lines of Hublot’s most elegant collection. Water-resistance is rated at 50 meters.

Turning the watch over, a smoked sapphire case back reveals the self-winding HUB1110 caliber with its skeletonized rotor, maintaining the monochrome aesthetic while offering a glimpse of the mechanics within. The manufacture movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.

A fabric-and-rubber strap underscores the collaboration’s tactile character, echoing Yamamoto’s couture sensibility paired with Hublot’s technical precision. The price is set at $12,100.
