With the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine Limited Edition, H. Moser & Cie. gives its open-worked tourbillon model a ceramic case for the first time. Limited to 100 pieces, the watch is the third creation resulting from the brand’s partnership with Alpine Motorsports and the BWT Alpine F1 Team. It is distinguished by a fully skeletonized manufacture movement, a flying tourbillon and a new combination of dark ceramic and vivid Alpine blue.

A Skeletonized Manufacture Caliber

The open construction provides a front-row seat into the automatic HMC 814, which is fully skeletonized on both the dial and movement sides. The caliber measures 5.5mm in height, operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a minimum power reserve of 72 hours. The main plate and bridges are finished in Alpine blue, creating a vivid contrast against the anthracite ceramic case. The movement architecture is further opened up by a skeletonized barrel and a fully open-worked rotor. At 6 o’clock, a flying one-minute tourbillon takes center stage. Its bridge is skeletonized and finished in the same blue as the other movement components. The tourbillon is equipped with H. Moser’s double hairspring, developed and produced by sister company Precision Engineering AG to improve isochronism by compensating for positional changes caused by the expansion and contraction of the hairspring.

Globolight for the Hour Markers

Despite the extensive skeletonization, legibility remains a priority. The seemingly floating hour markers and the three-dimensional hour and minute hands are made from Globolight, a ceramic-based material enriched with Superluminova. Its luminous properties add a practical element to the highly open-worked design while maintaining the watch’s clean appearance.

Anthracite Ceramic and Alpine-Blue Alcantara

The 40mm case is crafted from anthracite-gray ceramic and measures 12.8mm in height. Its alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces emphasize the characteristic flowing, cushion-shaped architecture of the Streamliner collection. Water-resistance is rated to 120 meters. An integrated blue Alcantara strap echoes the color of the movement components and continues the Alpine-inspired palette onto the wrist. It is secured by a black DLC-coated titanium pin buckle. The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine Limited Edition is limited to 100 pieces and priced at CHF79,000 excluding VAT, equivalent to approximately $95,340.
