Just in time for the height of summer, H. Moser & Cie. unveils a vibrant, eye-catching trio of timepieces that combine high-end watchmaking with sporty flair. Dubbed the Pioneer Spiced Aqua collection, the release includes three expressive models— the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton, Pioneer Tourbillon, and Pioneer Centre Seconds— all dressed in radiant turquoise and glowing orange. It’s haute horlogerie with the soul of a summer cocktail—bold, fresh, and full of character.

All three watches feature stainless steel cases, are water-resistant up to 12 ATM (120 meters), and come equipped with in-house calibers by H. Moser & Cie. Each model has its own distinct personality and is offered on rubber, leather, or stainless steel bracelets, allowing for versatile styling.

The Pioneer Cyndrical Tourbillon Skeleton Spiced Aqua is the most mechanically complex and visually transparent piece in the collection. Housed in a 42.8mm stainless steel case measuring 15.3mm thick, it showcases the automatic HMC 811 caliber—a fully skeletonized movement crafted in-house—through its exhibition case back. At its heart is a flying tourbillon with a cylindrical hairspring, a technical feat made entirely by the Schaffhausen-based brand. This rare component, featuring two Breguet overcoils, ensures chronometric performance and is notoriously challenging to produce. The movement comprises 171 components, beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour, and delivers a minimum power reserve of 74 hours. It is wound via a skeletonized gold rotor and sports a striking anthracite PVD finish on the bridges and mainplate.

Set beneath 12 o’clock is a small, domed fumé dial with gradient in bright orange, accented by turquoise indexes made from luminescent Globolight. This sub dial seems to float over the open architecture, giving center stage to the prowess of the mechanics beneath and putting the flying tourbillon into the spotlight.

The Pioneer Cyndrical Tourbillon Skeleton Spiced Aqua retails for CHF79,000 or approximately $97,000 when converted to USD.

The Pioneer Tourbillon Spiced Aqua celebrates purism in a bold colorway. The clean dial—an intense orange, in the brand's fumé style with a gradient effect—is deliberately clean, without indexes, numerals or logos. Two turquoise leaf-shaped hands with luminescent Globolight inserts sweep across the dial. The main protagonist is the flying tourbillon, taking center stage with a skeletonized bridge at 6 o'clock.

Its 40mm stainless steel case (12mm thick) houses the HMC 805 automatic movement, which also features H. Moser & Cie.’s proprietary cylindrical hairspring. Beating at 21,600 vph, the finely finished caliber delivers a minimum power reserve of 72 hours. Its intricate details, like the skeletonized rotor. come to life through the sapphire case back.

The Pioneer Tourbillon Spiced Aqua is priced at CHF49,900 or approximately $60,200 when converted to USD.

Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua

As the most minimalist member of the trio, the Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua model brings refined simplicity to the forefront. The 42.8mm stainless steel case (12mm thick) contains the HMC 201 automatic movement. This in-house caliber features a bidirectional winding system and delivers a three-day power reserve. Here too, the sapphire case back reveals a sophisticated finishing quality and touches such as H. Moser’s signature double stripes.

On the dial, the color scheme is reverse: the fumé watch face is turquoise, while the hands are orange, offering a bold contrast. The time-only watch also forgoes with indexes or numerals, emphasizing the clean design of the Pioneer Centre seconds model.

This special edition is also available with a black DLC-coated case, giving it a stealthier, more rugged aesthetic.

Pricing is marked at CHF14,500 or approximately $17,800 when converted to USD.
