Frederique Constant Unveils Two New Variations of the Classics Moneta Moonphase

Elegance in gold, understatement in steel.

With the Classics Moneta Moonphase, introduced last year, Frederique Constant offers a refined interpretation of the eponymous complication, which is brought to life with love to detail, presented in an unmistakable design. The most distinctive hallmark is the finely fluted bezel, reminiscent of a coin’s edge, which inspired the collection’s name. Now, the Geneva-based manufacture expands the line with two new models that emphasize its motto, which is all about elegance, vintage charm, and accessible luxury.

The first new version comes in a yellow gold–colored PVD-coated case, a debut for the collection, paired with a silver-toned dial. The applied hour markers, dauphine hands, and crown are color-coordinated, resulting in a harmonious composition that radiates warmth and refined elegance. By contrast, the second model is dedicated to those who favor a cooler, more contemporary aesthetic. It debuts a Milanese mesh bracelet, recalling designs of the 1970s, and combines it with a blue dial and a matching moon-phase display for a refined urban look.

Both watches feature a 37mm case with a slim height of just 7.65mm. A closed caseback conceals the quartz caliber FC-206, which provides precision timekeeping and an impressive battery life of up to 60 months. Pricing is marked at $1,495.
