Chronoswiss Gives the Neo Digiteur Gets a Pastel Makeover

Chronoswiss expands the Neo Digiteur collection with the Pastel Code, a trio of limited editions in Mint, Sky and Rose. Each version is limited to 99 pieces and combines the watch’s distinctive rectangular, tonneau-shaped case with a softer pastel palette. The three models retain the defining concept of the original Digiteur: a fully mechanical watch that tells the time digitally without conventional hands.

A Chronoswiss Original

As with every Chronoswiss watch, the Neo Digiteur has an interesting story to tell. It goes back to 2005, when brand founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang introduced the first Digiteur as a modern take on novel wristwatches of the 1920s and 1930s. Rather than conventional hands, the watch used separate apertures to display the hours, minutes and seconds. Chronoswiss revived this distinctive concept in 2025 with the Neo Digiteur. The new Pastel Code editions continue the mechanical-digital display while bringing a softer, more colorful look to its unconventional design.

Jumping Hours and Regulator-Style Indications

The sandblasted and lacquered brass dial uses three semicircular apertures to display the time. The jump hours appear at 12 o’clock, the minutes in the center and the seconds at 6 o’clock. The arrangement recalls a regulator dial–another forte of Chronoswiss–but eliminates its traditional hands. The Mint version is offered under reference CH-1373.2-LG, while the Sky is CH-1373.2-LB and the Rose is CH-1373.2-LR.

A Hand-wound Movement with a Proprietary Module

Powering the Neo Digiteur is the Chronoswiss C.85757, a hand-wound movement equipped with a proprietary module for the jumping-hour display. Its name refers to Chronoswiss’s original postal code from 1983, when the brand was still based near Munich. Paced at 21,600 vibrations per hour, or 3 Hz, the caliber provides a power reserve of 48 hours. Unlike the 2025 Neo Digiteur editions, here, the bridges are decorated with Côtes de Genève rather than guilloché. The finishing can be viewed through the sapphire-crystal case back.

Tonneau Case in Steel

The stainless-steel case measures 48 x 30mm and is 9.7mm thick. Its architectural shape combines sandblasted, brushed and polished surfaces, while the characteristic Chronoswiss onion crown remains part of the design. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar. Each model comes on a gray or black textile strap and is priced at $13,900.
