One of the greatest joys for watch enthusiasts is observing the evolution and reissues of iconic models. A striking example is the Zenith Chronomaster Sport, first introduced in 2021. With its automatic high-beat El Primero 3600 chronograph movement that measures time to 1/10th of a second, the style-defining three counters in Zenith's tri-color design, a water resistance of 100 meters, and a tachymeter scale on the bezel, it is a textbook chronograph. As the official timekeeper of the UTS 2024, Zenith has unveiled the lightest iteration yet, the Chronomaster Sport Titanium, which is 30 percent lighter than its siblings in stainless steel.

To highlight the sleek gray tones of grade 5 titanium, the Chronomaster Sport Titanium’s 41mm case is given a predominantly satin-brushed finish – including the crown and pump-style pushers. The bezel, also crafted from titanium and engraved with a 1/10th of a second scale, features a sunburst satin-brushed decoration that sets it apart from all other Chronomaster Sport references. The case and bracelet’s chamfers as well as the rim of the bezel and the case back are beautifully polished.

The Chronomaster Sport Titanium’s dial reinterprets the signature tricolor design in shades of gray. The sun-ray brushed dial is displays a galvanic nickel-gray shade and highlights the chronograph counters in three different tones of anthracite, gray and silver. Combined with the three-link bracelet in vertically satin-brushed titanium, the watch exudes a very elegant monochromatic look.

The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Titanium is equipped with the latest version of the El Primero caliber, dubbed the El Primero 3600. With its high frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 VpH), the self-winding movement offers a true 1/10th of second indication and an extended power reserve of 60 hours. The sapphire display back provides an unobstructed view of the movement’s contemporary architecture with a beautiful open design, revealing a blue column wheel and open rotor marked with the five-pointed star Zenith, among other top-notch finishings.

Pricing is marked at $11,800 for the execution with a bracelet and at $11,300 for the variant with a leather strap.
