Dressed to the Nines: Nomos Glashütte Introduces the Tangente Gold neomatik in Three New Variants

Just in time for the festive season, the brand’s best-selling model returns in 18-karat rose gold, powered by the ultra-thin in-house neomatik caliber and available in three dial versions.

Nomos Glashütte is adding a warm glow to the holiday season with the return of one of its most iconic designs: the Tangente, now offered once again in a full 18-karat pink gold case. With its slim 35mm profile—standing only 6.9mm high—its narrow bezel, and its clean Bauhaus-inspired dial layout, the Tangente Gold neomatik ticks all the boxes for a pure, understated dress watch.

Equipped with the brand’s in-house automatic caliber DUW 3001, which features the Nomos Swing System with a blued balance spring and a double-secured balance bridge, the movement measures only 3.2mm in height, enabling the Tangente’s remarkably thin case construction. The DUW 3001 boasts the signature Glashütte three-quarter plate, delivers a 43-hour power reserve, and is beautifully finished with Glashütte ribbing, rhodium-plated surfaces, Nomos perlage, and heat-blued screws.

Nomos offers three dial variants for the Tangente Gold neomatik: a white silver-plated dial with blued hands, a white silver-plated version with gold hands, and a dark ruthenium-coated dial also paired with gold hands. Each is protected by a sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating; an exhibition case back reveals the sleek DUW 3001 ticking inside.

The three newcomers are attached to the signature Nomos strap made from Horween Shell Cordovan. Pricing is marked at $13,000.
