Doxa Introduces the SUB 200 II with Fumé Dial and Refined Profile

Adding a fumé dial for the first time, a slimmer case, and new strap options, all while maintaining its reputation for strong value in an attractive price segment, Doxa continues to refine its signature dive watch with the latest lineup of the SUB 200 II.

Right in time for the warmer season, Doxa expands its accessible dive watch lineup with the SUB 200 II, a measured yet meaningful evolution of one of its most recognizable models. Long known for combining professional dive specifications with approachable pricing, the SUB 200 has served as an entry point into the brand’s storied underwater heritage. With this latest iteration, Doxa refines the formula— enhancing the design, wearability, and versatility without altering the watch’s refined tool-watch retro mentality.

For the first time within the permanent SUB collection, the SUB 200 II introduces a fumé dial, adding a new sense of depth and visual nuance. Available in black, gray, blue, green, and red and enhanced by a sun burst, the gradient effect darkens toward the periphery, creating a subtle play of light enhanced by a delicate moiré finish. The result is a dial that feels more layered and contemporary, yet remains firmly rooted in the clarity and legibility that define Doxa’s dive watches. As expected for a purpose-built dive watch, the distinctive hour markers and the collection’s signature hands are treated with Superluminova to ensure clear legibility in low-light conditions. A date display at 3 o’clock completes the dial’s practical layout.

Water-resistant to 200 meters, the steel case itself retains the familiar SUB silhouette but has been refined for improved wearability. At 12.8mm thick— approximately one mm slimmer than its predecessor— the watch presents a more streamlined profile on the wrist. It has a diameter of 44mm and is equipped with a unidirectional bezel, fitted with a color-coordinated aluminum insert.

Two new strap options further expand the SUB 200 II’s versatility. A stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet, inspired by historical dive watch designs, offers a fluid, ergonomic fit with a distinctly vintage character. Alternatively, a newly developed textured rubber strap introduces a sportier, retro-diving aesthetic, designed for both comfort and durability in active use.

The Doxa SUB 200 II is powered by a Sellita-based automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The collection launches as a full range and is available immediately, with pricing positioned at $1,690.
