Introducing the Zenith Chronomaster Sport

Zenith introduces a refined new take on the Chronomaster Sport with a two-tone limited edition in steel and rose gold. Paired with a dark mother-of-pearl dial and powered by the high-frequency El Primero 3600 caliber, the 50-piece release brings a more elegant edge to one of the brand’s most contemporary chronographs.

Zenith expands its Chronomaster Sport collection with a new two-tone model combining stainless steel and 18-carat rose gold. The release maintains the established specifications of the line while introducing a different material configuration and a notably elegant dial execution. Debuting at this year's Watches and Wonders, the newcomer is limited to 50 pieces.

The case measures 41mm in diameter and retains the proportions and construction of existing Chronomaster Sport models. It is executed in stainless steel, with the bezel, crown and chronograph pushers made of 18-carat rose gold. The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar.

The dial is made of dark mother-of-pearl and features the characteristic overlapping counters arranged at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. These sub dials with azurage finishing are rendered in three different colors, a historic design element associated with the El Primero. Applied hour markers and faceted hands are gold-plated and coated with Superluminova to ensure legibility in the dark. As is typical for the collection, the date aperture is positioned at 4:30.

The watch is powered by the El Primero 3600 automatic chronograph caliber. Operating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), it enables the central chronograph seconds hand to complete one full rotation in ten seconds, allowing direct reading of 1/10th of a second. The beautifully decorated and finished movement incorporates a column wheel and horizontal clutch and provides a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. It is visible through the sapphire case back, where a star-shaped oscillating weight also takes center stage.
