LVMH Watch Week 2026 marks another important chapter for TAG Heuer. With the debut of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph in a new 41mm size, the Swiss manufacture reinforces its 2026 theme, "Master of Chronograph," while extending one of its most emblematic designs. Rooted in motorsport heritage yet conceived for contemporary enthusiasts, the new Carrera Chronograph brings fresh dimensional presence to the glassbox family first reintroduced in 2023 for the model’s 60th anniversary.

Since its creation in 1963 by Jack Heuer, the Carrera has stood for clarity, balance, and functional elegance. Designed for professional racing drivers and named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana road race, the chronograph distilled the demands of high-speed timing into a clean, legible wristwatch. Over the decades, the Carrera evolved into a symbol of performance and style, equally at home on the racetrack and in daily life. The return of the glassbox design in 2023 paid tribute to this legacy, combining a curved sapphire crystal with a flowing dial flange and modern movement technology. The new 41mm Carrera Chronograph builds on that foundation, complementing the heritage-inspired 39mm version with a bolder, more contemporary stance.

The defining feature of the new Carrera Chronograph is its sculptural glassbox sapphire crystal, which curves seamlessly over the three-dimensional dial and flange. This architecture enhances depth, legibility, and light play, while the date-free layout and monochromatic counters keep the focus squarely on the chronograph indications. TAG Heuer introduces the new size in three distinct executions. The blue-dial version emphasizes elegance with a circular-brushed surface, azurage counters, and rhodium-plated hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova. The teal green variant brings a modern signature color to the collection. Completing the trio, the black-dial model adds red accents on the chronograph hands and outer ring, channeling the adrenaline and precision of motorsport. All three references are fitted with TAG Heuer’s seven-row bracelet.

Powering the new Carrera Chronograph is the in-house Caliber TH20-01, visible through the sapphire case back. The automatic manufacture movement features a column wheel and vertical clutch for precise chronograph operation, bidirectional winding, and a power reserve of 80 hours. Availability begins in January 2026, with a suggested retail price of CHF7,500 or approximately $9,400 when converted to USD.
