Mid-century style meets Swiss mechanics
A New Signature
Fossil introduces the Signature CS-1 collection as a new expression of the brand’s design philosophy, pairing Swiss mechanical watchmaking with clean lines, considered proportions, and elegant retro styling. The name refers to the Case Study House program, an architectural initiative launched in California in the 1940s that explored modern living through functional materials, open structures, and restrained design.
At the same time, the collection marks a return to Swiss-made watches for Fossil. Fossil Group established a presence in Biel/Bienne in 2002 through Montres Antima, a Swiss watchmaking company with which it continues to collaborate on design and development. The dressy Signature CS-1 builds on that experience, combining a Swiss-made Sellita movement with the brand’s unmistakable design language.

Three Tasteful Colors
The Signature CS-1 Three-Hand Date Automatic features a 38mm stainless-steel case with a domed sapphire crystal. Despite its elegant design, it is water-resistant to 100 meters. Combining a sunray finish with a fine concentric texture inspired by vinyl records on the hour track, the dial showcases traditional Swiss finishing. The same attention to detail appears in the elongated, faceted hour markers, dauphine-style hour and minute hands, and trapezoidal date window at 6 o’clock. The Triple Diamond insignia, derived from Fossil’s oval logo, appears at 12 o’clock and represents the brand’s past, present, and future.

The Signature CS-1 is available in three colorways channeling mid-century style: Jet Black, Parchment, and Prairie Green. The black-dial version is equipped with a stainless-steel bracelet featuring self-adjustable links and a double-press butterfly clasp. The Parchment model adds a two-tone twist and pairs its lighter dial with a walnut-brown Italian leather strap, while Prairie Green features a matching green leather strap.

A Swiss-Made Movement
The Signature CS-1 is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, which delivers a 41-hour power reserve. Visible through the exhibition caseback, the movement features a custom rotor bearing the collection’s name and Geneva stripes.
