Even as a young child, Jens Koch was fascinated by technology. After leaving school, he considered studying engineering, but decided to pursue his second passion, literature and language, and studied German and media studies. In 2001, these two interests came together again when he began testing watches for Chronos magazine. Understanding and explaining every detail of a movement and complication is still a challenge that appeals to him.
