Citizen Introduces Ceramic Bezels into the Attesa Collection

Citizen is adding not one, but two new models to its Attesa collection. With them, the brand also introduces ceramic as the material for the Attesa's bezel for the very first time. Its brushed finish gives a distinct touch to the already expressive design of these timepieces. The octagonal design of the bezel flows into the characteristic shape of the 44mm large case with its integrated bracelet.

Both new versions of the Attesa have a case and bracelet made from the brand's Super Titanium, with one of them finished in black DLC. Citizen also tailored the dial designs to match the overall look of the watch. This means that the DLC version has more of a stealth look to it, while the one without this finish shows a bit more contrast, highlighting the ceramic bezel. Despite the various functions that these watches offer, Citizen achieved a very balanced look of the dial, and you can quickly familiarize yourself with all the information that it offers.

Technically, both watches are the same, as they share Citizen's high-performance F950 movement, which combines Eco-Drive with Satellite Wave GPS. According to the brand, this movement has the fastest GPS satellite signal reception in the world, capable of receiving time signals in 3 seconds or even less. This makes these Attesa models perfect for frequent travelers, as they are built to enable users to switch between displaying different times at a moment's notice.

This is not the only thing that these new Citizens have to offer, as the Attesa also comes with a perpetual calendar function, chronograph, and power reserve indicator. It gets its power from light, and when fully charged, it can run for five years in power save mode. With its water resistance of 10 ATM/100 meters, it is a truly versatile watch. The price for either of the new Attesa models is $1,995, and it is expected to be in stores in March 2025.
