Mido celebrates the rich history of Mexico in the new limited edition of the Commander Big Date "Homenaje." In a round case with a diameter of 42mm made of stainless steel, the polished bezel and the satin-finished case sides and lugs provide a large canvas-like opening to a unique dial inspired by the artistic technique of the indigenous Huichol people.

The famous floral skull is crafted as a relief on a black background, paying tribute to Mexico's most famous cultural festival: Día de Muertos (or the Day of the Dead), a two day holiday taking place on November 1 and 2 that reunites the living and dead. With 27 different lacquers, the stunning motif offers a colorful and cheerful face during the day, while the skull glows at night thanks to seven different Superluminova shades. As dubbed in the name, the watch also features a large date indication.
