Vacheron Constantin celebrates the 30th anniversary of its Overseas collection with a titanium GMT watch offered in four dial colors inspired by the compass points.

Three decades after the debut of the Overseas collection, Vacheron Constantin presents the Overseas Dual Time “Cardinal Points,” a quartet of travel watches featuring a GMT complication. Introduced in 1996 as an elegant, sport-oriented line, the Overseas has long embodied the Maison’s vision of openness to the world. This latest iteration continues that narrative, pairing a lightweight titanium construction with a manufacture movement and a dial concept rooted in the four cardinal directions.

The Overseas Dual Time “Cardinal Points” is housed in a 41mm case, measuring 12mm in height and water-resistant to 150 meters. All components, including the case, integrated bracelet, and folding clasp, are crafted from titanium, chosen for its combination of strength and lightness. A matte anthracite finish distinguishes the bezel, whose geometry echoes the Maltese Cross emblem, crown, and pusher ring.

The collection is offered with four dial colors, each representing a cardinal point and its associated landscape: white for the frozen North, brown for southern terrains, green for western forests, and blue for eastern horizons. The dials combine a grained center with a snailed date sub dial placed at 6 o'clock and concentric tracks featuring circular satin and lacquered finishes. Orange accents on the dual time and day/night indications reinforce legibility and underscore the watch’s utilitarian character.

Visible through the sapphire case back, the self-winding manufacture Calibre 5110 DT/3 has been developed specifically for travelers. It displays a second time zone via the central arrow-tipped hand, complemented by the day/night indication synchronized with home time, while the date follows local time. The movement beats at 4 Hz and delivers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours.

The calibre features a dark grey NAC treatment on the bridges, contrasting with the 22K 3N yellow gold oscillating weight decorated with the Overseas' wind rose. Finishing includes Côtes de Genève, perlage extending across the mainplate, and hand-bevelled edges, each distinct hallmarks of traditional haute horlogerie. The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points is certified with the Poinçon de Genève, the Geneva Seal, one of the oldest and most prestigious distinctions in watchmaking, with a history spanning  160 years and guaranteeing both precision and the highest standards of finishing.

In keeping with the Overseas collection’s emphasis on versatility, the watch is equipped with an integrated titanium bracelet featuring an Easy-fit extension system for quick, tool-free adjustment. Two additional rubber straps, one in orange and one matching the dial color, are included, both interchangeable without tools and fitted with a titanium folding clasp. This modular approach allows the watch to transition easily between different environments and uses.

Pricing for the new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time “Cardinal Points” for each of the four colors is marked at $41,000 USD.
