Glashütte Original, the German luxury watch manufacturer, is once again channeling the spirit of the 1960s with its new Sixties Chronograph Annual Edition 2023. This decade was marked by strong contrasts in many aspects, including fashion, culture, and politics, much like the timepiece that now carries its name. The new watch will be one of the brand's highlights at this year's WatchTime New York event, with tickets available now, here.

This rings particularly true for the latest addition. The round 42 mm stainless steel case with mushroom-style chronograph pushers draws attention to an intricately designed dial. Its shimmering gray center gradually transitions into a darker tone towards the periphery, forming a captivating dégradé effect. The slightly curved dial is meticulously embossed using original tools and techniques from the era. It features two white Arabic numerals accompanied by engraved hour markers adorned with luminous dots and fine red gold hands.

The Sixties Chronograph Annual Edition 2023 is powered by the self-winding caliber 39-34, boasting a power reserve of 40 hours. Its components are meticulously hand-finished, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. The sapphire crystal case back reveals the intricate Glashütte stripe finish, beveled edges, polished small screws, and a skeletonized oscillating weight crafted from 21-carat gold, featuring the distinctive double-G symbol.

Pricing for the new Glashütte Original Sixties Chronograph Annual Edition 2023is marked at $8,700.
