Since its debut in 1993, the Seamaster Diver 300M has established itself as one of Omega's most sought-after timepieces, not only among fans of diver's watches, but also among Omega fans and enthusiasts with a penchant for luxury tool watches. This year, the collection expands its legacy with a new range of models that bring fresh choices and stunning metallic styles to the table, or the wrist, to be more precise.

The first of these new models made a high-profile appearance earlier this summer when actor and Omega ambassador Daniel Craig wore a sleek stainless steel version with a black dial at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This public debut sparked immediate interest and excitement, leaving watch enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the official release. Now, Omega finally revealed the secret and added some exciting new aspects that are as surprising as beautiful.

This new Diver 300M series departs from the recent ceramic versions, drawing inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, famously worn in No Time To Die. These 42mm steel models embrace a vintage look, with the distinct domed sapphire crystals and mesh bracelets that reflect the adventurous spirit seen in the Bond watch. Notably, the dials do not have a date indication so that the signature design with applied hour markers, open-worked hour and minute hands and a lollipop central seconds hand, all coated with Superluminova, unfold their charisma in a particularly expressive way, both during the day and at night.

While the black one spotted on Craig's wrist has a laser-engraved wave-like pattern, the second debut features a vertically brushed steel PVD-coated dial, which gives it a very cool new twist. The latter is framed by a grade 5 titanium bezel with a grained insert and the diving scale in positive relief. The full steel version features a bezel with a black aluminium insert with a white scale.

Other than that the new executions boast the familiar helium valve at 11 o'clock and are driven by the tried-and-tested Caliber 8806 that comes to life through the sapphire crystal case back. With a frequency of 25,200 vph, the Master Certified Chronometer provides up to 55 hours of power reserve. The self-winding movement is beautifully finished with Omega's signature Arabesque Geneva Waves.
