Omega Launches a New Green Seamaster Diver 300M in Titanium and Bronze Gold

Following the recent release of the Seamaster Diver 300M collection first spotted on the wrist of Craig Daniel during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Omega today unveiled a new variant of this professional diver's watch crafted from grade 2 titanium and bronze gold. The design of the latest addition is in tune with the stainless steel versions recently introduced, but brings fresh material options and colors to the wrist.

In line with the latest update to the Diver 300M series, the new timepiece moves away from the familiar ceramic style seen in previous years, instead drawing inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, worn by James Bond in No Time to Die. Notably, the watch features the same domed sapphire crystal, giving it a striking vintage aesthetic, which is further highlighted by the same Milanese bracelet as the Bond watch.

Both brushed, the mesh bracelet and the 42mm case are made from grade 2 titanium, a material known for its light weight, corrosion resistance, and durability in extreme temperatures. Omega's exclusive bronze gold, used for the bezel, crown, helium escape valve, and the PVD coating of the hands, creates a striking two-tone aesthetic contrast with the titanium. This unique alloy made from 50% copper and 37.5% gold maintains its natural sheen over time without gradually turning green due to oxidation. In addition to its lasting rosy hue, the material is also nickel-free, hypoallergenic, and iron-free, enhancing its resistance to magnetism.

The combination of these two materials is further complemented by green aluminum, which is used for the unidirectional bezel with 60-minute scale and the sandblasted dial. The no-date layout is furnished with the signature applied hour markers, here blackened, PVD 18K bronze gold open-worked hour and minute hands and a lollipop central seconds hand, all coated with vintage Superluminova. The other markings, like the water resistance rating of 300 meters / 1,000 feet, the Master Chronometer lettering and the Omega logo, are transferred in beige and red for the Seamaster logo.

The Seamaster Diver 300M is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806 that runs at a rate of 25,200 vibrations/hour and offers a power reserve of 55 hours. Certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), it can withstand magnetic fields of up to 15,000 Gauss and is distinguished by a daily 0/+5 seconds accuracy. The exhibition case back reveals its signature decorations, with the rhodium-plated rotor features with red lacquered engravings and Geneva stripes in Arabesque taking center stage.

The Seamaster Diver 300M can be paired with either the described mesh bracelet for $10,700 or an integrated green rubber strap for $9,900.
