With the Multifort Mechanical, Mido brings the fascination of mechanical watchmaking to the dial. The contours of its hand-wound movement are outlined in white Super-LumiNova, faithfully recreating the movement’s design in a 1:1 scale on the watch face.

The crown wheel at 3 o'clock and the ratchet wheel at 1 o'clock shine with a circular, azurite, and anthracite-colored surface. The ratchet, balance wheel, and hairspring appear in deep matte black, while the slate-gray bridges of the gear train have been given an expressive sheen through vertical satin finishing.

In the dark, the composition glows subtly in blue and red. The hands are a part of this spectacle of light: the hour and minute hands are faceted on three sides and accented with white Super-LumiNova, while the small seconds hand at 6 o'clock shine with a diamond-polished finish. The minute markers also emit a blue glow.

Inside the 44mm case, which is water-resistant up to 10 bar, a Mido caliber based on the ETA 6498-1 with a 46-hour power reserve sets the pace. The movement features fine decorations such as rhodium-plated bridges, Côtes de Genève stripes, and beveled edges. Mido has equipped this limited edition, restricted to 999 pieces, with two straps, a brown leather one and a black textile one, and a bracelet echoing the finishing of the case.
